A routine is not a row of bottles used from left to right. Morning skin needs protection for the day ahead. Evening skin has room for renewal. The order changes because the job changes.
The number is an identifier
The number on a Lumyra bottle records when that product joined the catalogue. It does not tell you that every lower number must be used before every higher one.
Today, products 01 to 05 happen to follow much of the application order, but 02 and 03 belong to different times of day. Treating 01 to 05 as one continuous five step line would put a daytime antioxidant and an evening exfoliant together. That is exactly the confusion the two-track routine prevents.
The morning track
1. 01 Cleanser removes overnight residue without leaving the skin tight.
2. 02 Vitamin C provides the antioxidant step for daytime exposure.
3. 04 Eye Contour goes around the orbital area in a light layer.
4. 05 Moisturizer seals in water and supports the barrier.
Sunscreen follows the skincare routine. Vitamin C supports daytime protection, but it does not replace a broad spectrum sunscreen.
The evening track
1. 01 Cleanser removes sunscreen, makeup and the day.
2. 03 Glow Serum provides the evening PHA renewal step.
3. 04 Eye Contour stays in the same position.
4. 05 Moisturizer closes the routine.
The structure stays familiar even though the active changes. That makes it easier to follow without remembering a long set of exceptions.
Where 06 fits
06 Retinol is outside the five product kit. On an evening when it is used, it takes the place of 03. The two are not layered and they are not used one after the other.
Begin 06 on one evening a week, on completely dry skin. Add another evening only when the first is consistently comfortable. Keeping 05 after it helps protect the barrier during that adjustment.
A simple rule for texture
Within each track, move from cleansing to the lightest treatment, then to the richer cream. Give each layer a moment to settle, but there is no need to time a long gap with a stopwatch. Consistency matters more than ceremony.
